Yup that's right, the whole point of having a calendar comes into play right now as you get to pencil in the date of the year...

26-28th October 2007 will witness the latest in the Aussie Kiss series; this year, naturally, promising to be even better than it's awesome predecessors. In case you fell asleep, or more likely were prevented from attending by some form of alien abduction, then here's a quick rundown of what happened at last year's Aussie Kiss 5.

With numbers pushing 700 at the party and a whole new world record of eagerness found in a windsurfer, the SWA Festival 06 witnessed 350 students receiving tuition from absolute beginner, lovely lady and impressive intermediate, to Mr fancy pants advanced. That was merely in the day however, as the pirates came out at night: the theme caribbean, the band I.D.Ology, the experience priceless!

Moving on from the memorable, yet strangely hard to remember escapades of last year, let me divulge all I know about this years excitement. Sam's the man in 2007 and what a man he is, chief organiser, awesome freestyler and general nice guy, he's the one that will make this bad boy work....his plans? endless, his ambition? to put on the greatest windsurfing event ever beheld by man.

3 bands, celebrity instructors*, ace event prizes, a majestic unfolding of individual series' prizes and one bad "Wild Wild West Country" theme!

All activities are to be held at Roadford Lake and Bude Holiday Park in Cornwall: an elaborately mixed and saucily laced cocktail of wind, water, a dancefloor and accommodation. However constrain yourself dear reader, unfortunately there is still a while to go yet, I realise you must be keen but have patience and watch this space for future updates.........

*We don't mean the chuckle brothers or anyone like that. Windsurf celebrities, if you can call them that.
