And with that, the 2024-25 Season began! 

Another year in South Wales started back at Hallets Cidery. Cars were parked (with less mud than last year!), tents were erected, ciders were bought, and boogie commenced with tunes provided by PsyberFunk and Sax-A-Dan.

The next morning, back at the beautiful Llandegfedd, briefings got underway, and many new windsurfers were introduced to the SWA before instruction for all levels began. Freesailors got out, there was peace and harmony in the lives of student windsurfers once again.

After packing up it was time for dinner before fancy dress was back in a big way. From the London Underground to Just Stop Oil, the creativity in the SWA never ceases to amaze. The party that night was unlike any other, mainly owing to the punch bowl and beer pong provided by one of our sponsors.

Another morning, another hangover. The time came to pack up and head to the res for one more jam-packed with windsurfing. The wind picked up, and team racing got underway, followed by the much-anticipated freestyle competition (results below).
