For a "no-wind" event it was pretty damn fun.
The weekend started well with Chris Cunningham; Adam Sims and I heading down to Highcliff to score the last chance of wind. Beautiful sideshore conditions yet there was bugger all in the way of waves. I was just happy to get out on the water(due to horiffic hayfever).
My mate Sam Batchelor was coming along on the trip to get some photos, and now has a serious collection of beach life photos and very few of windsurfing.
I'd like to say that there's nothing wrong with the m4 then the m5. It took us 7 hours to get back on that rout and we were also grid locked on the M6 for an hour.
The 13 hour drive was probably a result of all of the passengers being mindnumbingly pissed and sending the driver to sleep......this gave way to a toilet break every 5 miles(for the pissed boys), and a sleep break every 30 for Chris.
We basically got supremely drunk all weekend.
