The weekend of 19th - 21st February will bring the first SWA/Goya wave event of the new year, Portsmouth's epic and imaginatively titled Pompey Wave 2010.

Exeter rocked some serious socks last weekend when windsurfers from around the country came down to the south west to brave the epic conditions that blessed Dorset and Devons shores. It was that time of year again, Wave X (the first of a trilogy of SWA and Goya wave events) was upon us and, with Lyme Regis predicting the best forecast it had ever experienced, it was set to be a sick weekend!

With Aussie Kiss still fresh in the minds; and on the Facebook pages, of windsurfers nationwide, Nottingham University decided to reinforce the windy(ish) message with Pondlife VI, and this year, it was all grown up!
The end of November this year saw Bristol and UWE Universitys wet dream event going down like a flaming airship. Windsurfers from all over the country rolled down to Bristol, for a weekend in which despite the wind gods deserting us, a life changing experience was had by everyone.
