Hey guys!
So as you all know it’s my birthday coming up, and I have decided to do something really special.
You, and hundreds of my closest friends are invited to come and party with me to celebrate my super sweet 16.
On the 20th to the 22nd of October we will be jumping in our limos and having a water side fiesta at Roadford lake on the border between Devon and Cornwall!
Make sure you bring your glamping equipment so that we all look our best together in the camping field. I know you’ll all have luxury goose feather sleeping bags so that you don’t get cold!
Exciting Announcement!
Tonight we shall release the first batch of Aussie Kiss 16 Tickets.
The event will be taking place at Roadford Lake over the 20/21/22 of October and will boast a whole host of amazing windsurfing goodies: clinics, beginner classes, parties, demo kit and more... It's our number one event of the year, not to be missed!
We are releasing a small number of tickets in this pre-sale wave, this will be the cheapest opportunity to grab yours.
The full release is not due for a few extra weeks, but we're just too go damn excited for this year! Who's with us?!

Nationals 2017 date has been confirmed!
28th - 30th April 2017, to be held in Colwyn Bay, North Wales.
BUCS entry for the competition is already open, so don't forget to get your members signed up through your Athletics Union (or Student Union for some of you).
BUCS entries close a couple of weeks before the event, so don't leave it until the last minute.
Tickets for camping accommodation and party (not included in the BUCS entry fee) will need to be purchased separately by your members from the SWA website in due course.

This year, for the very first time, Colwyn Bay Watersports played host to the most important windsurfing event in the university calendar: The British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) National Windsurfing Championships. SWA BUCS Student Windsurfing Nationals 2017 is sponsored by Conwy County Borough Council. Taking place over the last weekend of April (29th-30th) the event saw almost 100 student competitors take to the water in 5 divisions to compete it out for the coveted BUCS points and medals. Well done to everyone who competed and attended this amazing event! Below are the key results.
London took centre stage on the weekend of the 17th-19th February as over 130 windsurfers from universities across the UK descended on the capital to share in the thrill of Imperial College London’s brand new student windsurfing event: Soggy Cockney. Despite light winds, the weekend was a rip roaring success and a huge celebration of sport with the city horizon scattered with windsurf sails bathing in the February sun. The Student Windsurfing Association (SWA) certainly made the most of the many activities held both on and off the water. Soggy Cockney was the last of the three SWA core events held this academic year in association with Sport Imperial and Queen Mary Reservoir. This huge inter-university collaboration attracted windsurfing clubs from every corner of the UK. Imperial stormed onto the SWA circuit with a weekend that will not be forgotten and we hope it's the first of many more to come!
